About Nite Fields

Blending post-punk, shoegaze, and electronic elements into a familiar yet mysterious sound, Nite Fields evoke the legacy of fellow Australian bands such as the Church and the Go-Betweens. As their sound evolved from its ambient beginnings into something more propulsive, Nite Fields released a pair of singles, 2012's Happy New Year and 2014's Vacation, on vocalist Danny Venzin's own Lost Race label. Vacation caught the ear of HTRK's Nigel Lee-Yang, who produced the sessions that would become the band's debut album. Depersonalisation arrived in February 2015 via Felte Records. ~ Heather Phares
