Mr. Probz

About Mr. Probz

Mr. Probz is a Dutch singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer who expressed himself via graffiti writing before getting into hip-hop as a teenager. • The multi-talented artist selected his stage name for a simple reason: He had a lot of problems. • Mr. Probz survived a shooting in 2010 and a fire three years later that claimed his home studio. Fortunately, the blaze spared the laptop containing songs for his debut album, The Treatment, which he released in September 2013. • He rose to international prominence with the 2013 single “Waves.” The soulful original version reached No. 5 in The Netherlands, and the uptempo 2014 remix by German DJ Robin Schulz topped the charts in numerous countries, including the UK, and reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. • In 2019, Mr. Probz added Dolly Parton to his eclectic list of collaborators by featuring on “Faith,” the country legend’s team-up with Swedish duo Galantis.
