A modern melodic hard rock outfit based out of Stockholm, Sweden, Metalite employ a soaring blend of power metal, metalcore, and electronicore that invokes names like Amaranthe, Epica, and Leaves' Eyes. Founded in 2015 by vocalist Emma Bensing, guitarist Edwin Premberg, guitarist Robert Örnesved, bassist Robert Majd, and drummer Les Larsson, the group inked a deal with the Swedish label Inner Wound Recordings in 2016. In early 2017, they issued the single "Afterlife" in advance of the release of their debut full-length, Heroes in Time, which arrived later that October.
