About Maejor Ali

Bei Maejor broke into the music industry in 2005, when he worked on songs for Trey Songz and UGK's Bun B. Over the next few years he produced and wrote for the likes of Chrisette Michele and Ginuwine. His biggest successes involved co-writing credits on Soulja Boy's "Speakers Going Hammer" and Lloyd's "Cupid." His self-produced, self-written single "Trouble" registered on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart in August 2011. The next year, he produced material for Justin Bieber, Iggy Azalea, and Big Time Rush, while his own "Lights Down Low" reached number 68. He then switched his name to Maejor Ali and released "Lolly," which reached the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. ~ Andy Kellman
