In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I've been singing in choirs my whole life, starting as a soprano in our church choir when I was 10. I've been a soprano, alto, tenor, and bass! I've also been trained in classical piano since I was 6, with it actually being my first instrument. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alexander Stewart, Alexander Stewart Covers, Vol. 1 Demi Lovato, Skyscraper - Single Shawn Mendes, Shawn Mendes (Deluxe) These albums contain music and artists that were quite relevant at the time that I was starting out in the music industry, and whose music inspired me to write my first songs and kickstart my career as a singer and songwriter. Tell us why you chose this song. “Te Jonk” I rarely get candid about my personal life in my music, but "Te Jonk" is one of the first songs that relate directly to hardships that I've experienced in my life, which made me stronger in the end. It is my fight song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My participation in The Voice South Africa and being on #TeamVanCoke, Francois van Coke's team. Although this was one of the most stressful things I've ever been part of, this show has opened countless doors for me and taught me a lot.
