Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 21 Savage, Metro Boomin, Savage Mode Arthur Russell, World of Echo Burial, Burial Cliché as it may be, Burial is and has been a constant inspiration. Similarly, Arthur Russell's sonic and structural experimentation never cease to amaze me. But, not a week goes by without a full listen to 21 Savage and Metro Boomin's masterpiece. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Wasn't U” For me, "i wasn't u" feels like the closest I've come to synthesizing my influences in a meaningful way; combining pop, lyrical nostalgia, lo-fi folk, deconstruction, and club focused rhythms. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hands down, the most fulfilling and exciting project I've had the honor to be involved in was composing an original score for a performance art / modern dance piece that was performed at the MOMA PS1 in NYC. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Realistically, I'd die happy if I brought a modicum of joy, solace, or comfort to anyone who might be so gracious as to listen to my tunes.
