Diddy - Dirty Money

About Diddy - Dirty Money

The rap game would look a whole lot different if Diddy never had his way. The New York producer, label boss, and rapper (born Sean Combs in 1969) has worn many hats throughout his career, beginning with founding Bad Boy Entertainment in 1993. That same year, the label inked a distribution deal with Arista Records, bringing his at-the-time little-known discovery The Notorious B.I.G. along with him. He began his solo career in 1997 with his debut album, No Way Out, proving to be a capable MC alongside a super producer and powerful voice at the conference room table. The 2000s and 2010s brought acting gigs and a career resurgence when he founded Diddy - Dirty Money with singers Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper in 2009. Diddy ushered in yet another era of his multifaceted discography when he shared the R&B-rap hybrid album The Love Album: Off the Grid (Extended) in 2023, a brand new look from one of hip-hop’s most restlessly inventive creators.
