About David Sinclair

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I saw the Jimi Hendrix Experience opening a show that featured the Walker Brothers, Cat Stevens and Engelbert Humperdinck. Hendrix played Hey Joe, Purple Haze, Foxy Lady and Wild Thing. It was the first gig I went to. Wow! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Rolling Stones, Black and Blue (2009 Remaster) ZZ Top, Tres Hombres All three albums live deep in my heart. Clapton's guitar playing on the Bluesbreakers album was an early epiphany. Black and Blue was when I realised how much the Stones meant to me. Tres Hombres was my first meeting with the genius of Billy Gibbons. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Money Has All Gone” Artists are promiscuous lovers of their own songs. The latest flame gets all the attention. This one is a snapshot of post-clampdown London, UK at the end of 2022. I love the energy, the attitude, the sound - and the timing, which couldn't be better. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Robin Trower produced my song Living Like a Yo-Yo. Recording that song with Jordan Fish engineering and Livingstone Brown mixing was a game-changer. We then got Paul Jones to play harmonica on another track on the album and the band's world changed. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Let's kick the bucket list. We'll take this thing where it needs to go.
