About Bronco

Bronco was one of the first bands to popularize the style of regional Mexican music known as grupera, which blends modern pop influences with classic norteño sounds. ∙ Over their four-decade career, the Grammy Award-nominated band has sold more than 10 million albums, with Gold records in five different countries. ∙ They performed the theme song for telenovela Dos Mujeres, un Camino, which featured a cameo by keyboardist Ramiro Delgado as the lover of a character played by singer Selena. ∙ Hoping to draw a younger audience to their music, the band collaborated with rock band Zoé and singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas on their 2017 album Primera Fila. ∙ The Spanish-language version of the Oscar-winning film Coco closes with Bronco performing “El corrido de Miguel Rivera” over the end credits. ∙ Founder José Guadalupe Esparza was a judge on the third season of Mexican talent show Pequeños Gigantes.
