An eclectic, synth-fueled progressive electronic band that churns out undeniably heavy music with an electro-psych twist, Arcadea is the brainchild of Mastodon drummer/vocalist Brann Dailor and Zruda guitarist/keyboardist Core Atoms. Rounded out by synth wizard Raheem Amlani (Withered), the trio began laying down tracks at Orange Peel Studios in Atlanta, Georgia for their ambitious debut album in 2016. The eponymous, cosmic sci-fi opus was released in June 2017 via Relapse Records. ~ James Christopher Monger
