More successful individually than as a tandem, Arcángel y De la Ghetto are a reggaetón duo who were active from 2004 to 2006 before splintering. The duo first established itself with the hit song "Pégate," in 2005, and were featured on a variety of reggaetón albums, including Luny Tunes' Mas Flow: Los Benjamins. Arcángel departed in late 2006 for a solo career, but De la Ghetto had more initial sucess, with two major hits: the Tito El Bambino and Randy remix of "Siente el Boom" and "Sensación del Bloque." Meanwhile, the solo career of Arcángel initially sputtered, but he finally released an album, El Fenómeno, in 2008. ~ Jason Birchmeier
