About Angélica Vale

The daughter of Mexican celebrity Angélica Maria and comedian Raúl Vale, singer/actress Angélica Vale (born Angelica Maria Vale Hartman) began her career in the early '80s while playing roles in the Latin soap opera Muñeca Rota (Broken Doll) and the movie La Guerra de Los Pasteles (the Pie's War). In 1980, the young artist teamed up with her grandmother, producer Angélica Ortíz, to create a children-oriented musical called Zoila Sonrisas. After assembling a teen pop group known as El Club de la Amistad (the Friends Club) ,Angélica Vale played a main role in the successful Mexican series Lupita. Her breakthrough came when she joined the musical Vaselina (Grease). In 1988, Angélica Vale recorded her first solo album for CBS, followed by Nuestro Show No Puede Parar and Atrapada En Los Sesentas. ~ Drago Bonacich
