About Amy Grant
Known as the Queen of Christian Pop, Amy Grant has sold more than 30 million albums and has won six Grammy Awards. ∙ She has topped Billboard’s Christian Albums chart 17 times—more than any other artist—and earned 10 Top 40 hits. ∙ Grant’s breakthrough release, 1982’s Age to Age, was the first Platinum album by a Christian music artist. Her 1991 album, Heart in Motion, became the best-selling Christian album of all time. Grant’s Home for Christmas album features “Breath of Heaven (Mary’s Song),” which was later covered by Donna Summer, Jessica Simpson, and Gladys Knight. The title track of her 1994 album, House of Love, is a duet with country star Vince Gill, whom Grant later married. In 2003, Grant was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in her first year of eligibility.
