Amelie

Catalonian boy band Amélie comprised Alberto Segú, Carlos Ribes, Alex Plan, Marcel Selva, and Edgar Regincós. In 2010 the band won a contest to become the supporting act for All Time Low's first Barcelona concert, and in 2011 Amélie issued their debut, Somiant Desperts. The album caused quite a stir on the Internet and became one of the year's favorite releases among teen audiences. Their 2012 sophomore effort, És el Moment, further strengthened the quintet's rising popularity. Now aiming for the international market, the band choose to record its third album in the U.S.A. It appeared in 2015 under the self-explanatory title Take the World. One year later, however, Amélie announced their dissolution. ~ Mariano Prunes
