About Adamic

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first real concert was seeing Disciple back when I was 10 years old. They played a phenomenal set, and the singer screamed on one song for over 30 seconds straight. They were my initial inspiration to start a band and write/record music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 38th Parallel, Turn the Tides Disciple, Scars Remain Pillar, Where Do We Go from Here These foundational albums have inspired our band's style. We wanted Adamic to encapsulate everything we loved about rock and alternative music in the 2000s, along with our own original flair. Ian and myself both listened to these records as kids. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sounds Like a Voice” This was the first song we released after our indefinite hiatus as a band. It was a "comeback" song for us and its message sums up our reason for making music; to inspire people to have hope and "love till the end." What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would say getting to work with some of our musical heroes on our new record has been a highlight. Andrew Stanton (of Disciple) served as our producer and Lester Estelle (of Pillar and now Kelly Clarkson) engineered our drum sessions. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely! We have a long list of artists and producers we would like to collaborate with in the future like Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D. We also would like to tour the world and play shows with some of our favorite bands.
