VOUN 4+

Pretty cool if you want to see what your photo will look like matted, framed, and hanging on the wall. No goofy/unrealistic frames, but the options that are available have such subtle differences that a little bit of goofiness might be OK... maybe. (I've only used the settings that are included for free, so an in app purchase might round things out just fine.

That said, there are enough respectable, components/options included for free to make this a worthwhile tool as is, and the hi-rez output, with shadows and highlights, looks as realistic as you want to make it.

I would like to be able to do a little more with the width of the frames and matting, and an option to add the finished picture to a photo of a real wall would be great.

This app would be perfect if users can control the size of their photos.😭 I gave only one star because the sizing factor is so limiting, I cannot use it for my projects, it is very frustrating because the app is otherwise perfect. 😔 I like VOUN because it is simple. It does not many options in terms of walls or frames, & pretty limited purchasable options, but it gets the job done. As an artist, I create traditional artworks of various sizes (8”x”10”, 11”x14”, etc.). I sell my work online. By only having the 2:3 ratio and the square option, VOUN is not useful to me any longer. I need to be able to create a custom sized frame/crop to show the ACTUAL size and shape of my work in order to sell it online. I’ve read many reviews stating the same issue. I would also gladly pay for this app if the photo ratio options were improved. Perhaps in the future a design with some type of paid ‘premium’ version of the app that allows users to have freedom and control over the cropping sizes will be available. Until then, I am researching and wanting to purchase any other apps to do the job instead of using VOUN. 😥

I'm a digital artist, and just discovering how many amazing tools there are to market my art. This app is one of them! You can showcase how a piece of art (or photograph) would look to prospective clients on your portfolio, in emails, texts, on Etsy, Gumroad, wherever! Or you can just have fun with it. I'm using this app and putting some of my creations in a frame and fake wall, I realized how much selling potential they actually have, so nothing but thanks to the app creators! I will be upgrading and/or buying individual mock-up frames. Any photographer, artist, interior designer, etc, NEEDS this app!
