Game screen optimizing for smaller iPhones
I would give this game 5 stars for the quality of the physics, smooth graphics, competitive online modes and for overall being the closest thing to real snooker you can get. The only issue is the app is formatted too large for iPhone X screens. I can barely make out some of the actions around the corners of the screen, and it is very irritating to see text overlapping the bottom and top middle pocket.
Fix that and maybe add a “collect all” option for the rewards and the game would be perfect in my opinion. I just started playing and i have not been able to stop, it makes me feel like i can actually play snooker. There’s no other app like this that’s as intuitive and rewarding, but i would like to see these formatting bugs resolved!
Great game, but devs too greedy
The game is great. The actual shooting mechanics, physics, etc. are phenomenal. However, the cost energy per game combined with the cost of replenishing energy is shameful. Additionally, in order to unlock online play without a lot of mechanics meant for assistance, you need thousands of coins. Of course, those are expensive. It’s unfortunate that such a great game (graphically and gameplay wise) is ruined by greedy developers.
The GOAT (Updated...)
After playing this game for a few weeks, I’m dropping my review to 2 stars. While the physics and visuals are absolutely incredible, there are far too many problems down to simple typos among menus that make it feel rushed. Combine this with a developer who wants more money through energy refills and shot redos (which are very needed due to slow regeneration and no ad option to boost) and you’re left with a game that’s fun for 10 tries until you get fed up with the level you can’t pass. Multiplayer is online only and is also very bugged.
Honestly, if this game were simply a local multiplayer/bot face-off with custom rules options, I would 100% purchase it or deal with constant ads. The only reason I continue to play is that the physics are so spot on.
