Kaymbu 4+

I have been using Kaymbu for over 5 years and have seen the evolve and adapt to meet the needs of the early childhood education and assessment. With practice, teachers are able to easily share, track and write about a child’s growth and development and share it with families. It has been a central feature to how our program communicates with families. Using this program as a teacher, I’ve noticed how has encouraged me to reflect on children’s learning every week. I have found it makes me more mindful of what I’m offering in the classroom and how I’m supporting children. Some families really enjoy and look at the photos and comments and it can be discouraging when they don’t. But I’m always reassured that all of the hard work with the app makes me a better teacher and informs my practice just as much as it helps me engage with families.

I initially thought that Kaymbu was just a great resource for elevating my class newsletters, but I have found that it actually does much more than that! I love the fact that with the touch of a button, I can easily share individual accomplishments with parents by sending them a video of their child’s class presentation or a picture of their art masterpiece. Kaymbu also helps you track which families have been contacted so that you can ensure that you are making positive contacts all around. When sending classroom communications, I also have a variety of options for colorful layouts, adding important calendar dates, uploading pdf’s of spelling lists and adding pictures and videos. I am currently a teacher who uses kaymbu on a day to day basis. Kaymbu is an incredible app that is extremely easy to use. This comes from someone who has used other platforms such as teaching strategies gold. When I made the switch from teaching strategies gold to kaymbu, I thought I would struggle with the change, but it was the complete opposite and I’m really happy that I made the switch. I have been using kaymbu for 2 years now and not only do all the teachers love it, but the families do too. I have the ability to send pictures and videos to families. Create newsletters, and even auto set the pictures to be sent to families everyday at a specific time. It’s time you make the switch to kaymbu!
