If I upgrade - do I need to pay monthly

If I upgrade - do I need to pay monthly charge - even tho I had previously paid in App purchases to upgrade all the features.

- I had already paid the twice for InApp purchase for this utility spending over $10 for this utility. I use this app for a non-profit organization. If I have to pay monthly then I will delete this app - I dont need any more features. Cant I just keep on using as it is for what I paid for already.

In order to better support software function iteration and provide services, with this major release 5.0, the app will also be changed subscription based. If you have purchased the features of the version before this update, we will automatically renew your app subscription with the longest subscription period with a next three year since 2020/3/29 to 2023/3/29. Until 2023/3/29, You can use the app freely and no payment needed.
You can continue to use the old version(up to 4.0.1) and there is no end date, But if you want to get all newest updates and features, upgrade to the new version is a better option. Thanks for your trust and support. We will continue to provide better app experience and services.

Subscription? I don’t think so!!

I will never update this program again! I refuse to pay monthly for ANY software.
What unmitigated greed! Especially considering how buggy this software has proven to be ober the last few years.

Not a free trial

This tool is good, but there is no free trial (spelled "Trail" in the tool). After spending a ton of time editing tags, it didn't let me save and asked me to subscribe so I could save my work. That's not a trial and I was very angry. How would I know the tag editing even worked unless I save and reindex my music files after editing? Had you set my expectations correctly in the beginning then maybe I would have considered subscribing. But all you did was make me angry and I uninstalled your program. The second star is just because the experience before the saving snafu was good.

Hello Dear, the free version can save 20 edited music files and experience all the functions, including network synchronization tags, lyrics editing, file renaming and so on. Thank you for your support.
When the app ask for subscribe while saving files, you can just click "close" to continue saving files.
since the first version, we continue to iterate and optimize the user experience, develop new features, and spend a lot of energy during this period. The payment is to better support the development of the software, and we will continue to update the iterative software to create quality products.
