Rarely do I pay for an app simply because I like it and want to thank the developer. I’ve been using this app for weeks, and it’s perfect for the way I organize my plans.

The color-coding available with the paid version is extremely helpful. I have colors for appointments, questions, things to say to people, and more.

The beauty of this app is that items don’t require start or end times, and can be dragged and dropped to other days. Didn’t get around to something? No big deal, just drag it down to another day! Boom, done - no fuss, no endless menus and tedious work just to change a date and time. Drag and drop. Done.

Of course, items can have a start time and end time. Have an appointment at 2:00pm on Monday? Great, the unscheduled items will place themselves around that anchor point in your day. If the appointment ends up rescheduled, guess what? Just drag it and drop it into the new day - the time of day will remain, and can also be adjusted within two taps. Glorious.

Completed items stay safe in a filter for each day, so you can review, move, or duplicate them to other days, easily. Again, it’s all drag-and-drop.

I needed a replacement for a paper calendar, where I could simply list an event without picking an hour. This app turned out to have a very attractive layout. I like how I can drag an entry to a different day, and how pinching in or out allows me to switch between the month view and the day view. As a visually impaired reader, I also appreciate how the type size of the entries can be changed through iOS's "larger text" feature.

Its user interface is amazingly simple. I was looking for a minimal time planner and i had almost lost all my hope in finding one right after installing a large sized app, claiming to be minimal, but far from it. But i saw Whenever and since the size was rather small, i installed it. When i put in my first schedule in it... i realized, this is it! It was the app i have been looking for.
