Dumb.com - Old Radio Shows 4+

I really want to love this app but for the few weeks that I've had it, it's got a couple serious flaws. The biggest flaw is that at least half of the programs don't play at all, no matter how long I wait. Doesn't matter if I'm using wifi or my own data, a lot of good shows that I REALLY want to listen to don't open at all. Also, this app could really use a timer for auto shut-off. All you really can is either listen to a single program and it shuts off or it goes non-stop. I'd really like some feedback from the app's developers as to how the main issue can be corrected.
On the pro side, I absolutely love the depth and sheer quantity of programs on here. I was happily surprised to find my favorite show, Mindwebs, on here. Too bad I can't listen to all the episodes! ☹️

I’ve been using this app for quite a while and have loved it up until recently. About 1-2 months ago skip repeats started happening so often it is impossible to listen to episodes! Some of these I have listened to before and the skipping was not an issue!

In OTR some skips are to be expected because of they age of the programs and the original cylinders and records from which they were transposed were either imperfect or damaged. That is not the case here. In almost every recording where this happens, it occurs at the start of the broadcast.

Please address this issue so listeners can enjoy these mind’s eye experiences once again.

I am a huge fan of the old radio shows and this app has a huge library of content. Unfortunately, there is very little of their library that you can play. There have been huge flaws in their content for several years now. A huge percentage of their content will not play. A program will load and begin to play, but it almost always will play back the same snippet over and over and skip around continuously. It is impossible to listen to most programs. They either need to fix the problems with the app or take it down altogether. Either they do not know how to fix the problems or simply don’t care. What a shame that such exquisite content cannot be accessed. Please fix your app!!!!
