Ratings and Reviews
Not very CAD
Very difficult interface with only basic tools. If you are a beginner to CAD this is not very functional and has very few resources compared to other programs. I was hoping for more. I will keep poking at it but not impressed so far. Good luck

You will find an introduction as a PDF in the help menu of Cadintosh. Here the basic operation and the concept are explained based on the construction of a floor plan. You will also find complete instructions in the help menu. In addition, we offer free trial versions on our website for all products. A test is therefore possible before buying.
Love CADintosh X
I used an earlier version of CADintosh (2008) to render the architectural drawings for a large, complex two-story art studio that I build for my wife. They passed the building inspecter's approval, so I was good.
As for comments about "learing curve" and not easy to use, it is not the program but the task. CADintosh tools are excellent, but you have to understand archectural drafting techniques. Having said that, I am not trainined as an architect, I am a psychologist in human-computer interaction, but I took the time to learn and the results were great.
Wasn't about to pay hundred's it not thousands for a professional program like AutoCAD ($1600 a year) or REVIT ($2300 a year). $34 US is a huge bargan. Especially, since I am using this version to render the drawings for an addition to my two-story garden shed.
By the way, CADintosh X reads the old files from 10 years ago! You go Lemke!
Great for viewing PLT/HPGL Files
Needed to view some PLT/HPGL files on the MAC and this application was the best that I found. Easy to use and worked right away. Much faster than the online viewers.
