Aswad became one of England's most celebrated bands by combining roots reggae with dub and pop-savvy hooks; that amalgam catches fire in front of a rapturous audience on this concert document. Aswad manages to achieve complex effects live, like the dub moves over cyclical horn riffs on "Not Satisfied." But things take a turn toward lovers rock when Drummie Zeb croons the easy-rolling, romantic "Your Recipe." And it's hard to think of a more effective roots-reggae anthem than "Drum & Bass Line."
