It's not surprising to learn that Mexican singer Raymix got his start producing trance. Those same rippling synths and bleeping hooks give this remix-heavy version of his debut album, Oye Mujer, its futuristic vibe, though his beats abandon the endless pulse of EDM for the choppy Latin funk of cumbia. It's an unlikely fusion that works beautifully. "Dime Amor" is pure club euphoria flecked with moments of melancholy, and "El Círculo" expands his remit into the hazy-from-the-heat ambience of tropical house, while the title track brings the hands-in-the-air ecstasy of techno to Latin pop.
