From the opening rumble on riff-heavy “Bloody Sweet” to the final victorious chant on club-ready belter “Lokiverse 2.0”, the soundtrack to Tamil action-thriller Leo revels in drama, energy and pomp—much like the film itself. Rock is the order of the day for the record’s singer/composer Anirudh Ravichander but there’s also dance and balladry here. He goes for atmosphere with the ominous “Glimpse of Antony Das” and calls on singer-songwriter Lothika for the drifting, piano-laced “Anbenum”. But perhaps the biggest song here is “Badass”, with its relentlessly driving drums that just make you want to be a rebel.
