This Akron, Ohio, concert is a worthy final clip. Here, Orbison’s voice can still hit the notes it needs to hit in the challenging “Only the Lonely,” and his band and backing vocalists apply their professionalism and care to every song. “Dream Baby,” “In Dreams,” “Crying,” “Ooby Dooby,” “Lana," and “Oh, Pretty Woman” get the final send-offs they deserve. That Roy enjoyed a later-in-life resurgence is fitting for a man known to be a sweet person and understated genius.
