On "Young," the uptempo country rock jam that follows, Chesney’s broad, clean voice celebrates his own glory days with a tale of teenagers torn between wanting to grow up and trying to make time stand still. He has a knack for exactly that sort of contradiction: Later, fiddle-backed "Never Gonna Feel Like That Again" juxtaposes the possibilities of life against the finality of death.
