"The Vampire, The Handler, And Me is a paranormal novel by Eileen Sheehan. After attending a New Year party, 24-year-old Lizzie Ewing vomits after a night of heavy drinking. She meets charming Nevi Sharpe at a service station, and instantly he is enamored with her. Lizzie then attends a family dinner where she meets Geoffrey Jenkins, who becomes obsessed with her. After Geoffrey learns that Lizzie plans to date Nevi, he tells her that Nevi is an evil vampire. Defiant, Lizzie commences dating Nevi, who treats her like his queen. But Nevi's daughter, Sasha, attempts to kill her, leading to an emergency blood transfusion, courtesy of her lover. Now filled with vampire blood, Lizzie discovers significant changes in her senses as she mourns the loss of her suddenly deceased housemate, Frank. Lizzie also discovers she is pregnant and is thrilled by the news, but Nevi rejects her as he is convinced he cannot procreate with humans. Finally, when Nevi storms out and fails to return, Lizzie turns to Geoffrey for comfort and agrees to marry him until she learns what horrors a man obsessed truly is capable of.
I love a good paranormal romance, and Eileen Sheehan has provided just that. Nothing beats a creative love triangle like the one in The Vampire, The Handler, And Me. Throughout the story, I was waiting for Nevi to cross the line while expecting Geoffrey to come to the rescue at just the right moment. The steadfast love narrative is refreshing. As the pieces of the story all finally connected, my heart gave a standing ovation at the cleverness and brilliant writing produced by Sheehan. The twist at the end is shocking and amazing simultaneously, but I was expecting no less by that stage and am still smiling at the adventure it took me through. I recommend this well-written tale to all fans of a beautiful love story filled with suspense, twists, and turns. A very well-thought-out and extremely addictive storyline. I look forward to reading more from Sheehan in the future."

Needs and editor.
First, I feel I need to be honest and divulge, “I love anything Vampire” so I may be a little bias. I loved this book!
Lately, I’ve expanded my reading to books not written by Christine Feehan, and I’ve noticed every author has different views of vampires. This book includes; day walkers, night walkers, good vampires, rogue vampires, super naturals, and vampire hunters. All the rules are different from what I’ve read before, but I liked it.
The only improvement would be the editing. Being an editor, mistakes like this really interrupt my reading. There were not only misspellings, and incorrect grammar; there were words used in the wrong tense and repeated words. They were not AAB repeats; they were ABA, which made it more confusing!
The pipes were equally historic and needed to replacing, …
I have no control over it and I definitely I see no value in it.
In one particular spot there was the worst editing error ever;
I wanted to jump out of my skin, or punch something or someone, or run somewhere…so-mething!
It definitely ruined the smoothness of the read.
I loved the book, but because of the errors, I feel a rating of be 4 Boundless stars fair. I would love to read more from Sheehan, as long as she gets a new editor.....Beth
