Ultimate David and Goliath story

I was asked to read and review Order of the Seers and chose to upgrade to audiobook. For some reason, I had it in my head that this was a young adult book; most likely my interpretation of the cover. It’s not. Some of the characters may start off young, but due to their tragic circumstances, they grow up fast.

They story spans over several years, following the lives of several characters. The story is extremely well developed, and has vivid descriptions. I was never lost through the frenetic plot, and was hungry for what came next. All of the characters were well developed, especially the main players, and it’s incredibly easy to get caught up in the story of worldwide domination of Seers, in order to further all worldwide Government’s goals, without a care for the people they hurt and destroy.

Order of the Seers is the ultimate David and Goliath story. Yet this time, David packs more of a punch than just a rock. It was extremely enjoyable and I look forward to book two, Order of the Seers: The Red Order. I just hope it comes in audio. I really enjoyed listening to the first one! My only criticism on the audiobook would be the pausing. It was in middle of sentences and disrupted the flow and pace of the story...Sara
